THE STUFF YOU CAN’T SEE:Cade Cunningham was the best he has ever been Monday. His leadership may be even better.
The Pistons are still without starting center Jalen Duren (left ankle sprain). Point guard Monte Morris (right quad strain) remains out into January. Center Isaiah Stewart missed the last two games with a shoulder injury, but is listed as probable. Killian Hayes also missed Monday’s game against the Hawks but is listed as probable.
The Jazz were without rookie guard Keyonte George (foot) and center Omer Yurtseven (illness) for Wednesday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers and their status for Thursday is unknown. Meanwhile, guard Jordan Clarkston was diagnosed with a right bicep femoris strain in his thigh and is set to be reevaluated in another week.
