A new type of Lure Module has been added to Pokemon GO, and Golden Lure Modules may be the most valuable one of them all as they turn normal PokeStops into Golden PokeStops.
Unfortunately, obtaining these Gold Lure Modules is far from easy as it requires sending Postcards to Pokemon Scarlet to Violet!
How to Get Golden Lure Modules in Pokemon GO
To get Golden Lure Modules in Pokemon GO, you must send Postcards from Pokemon GO to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
The first time you send a Postcard, you will get the Coin Bag, which allows you to catch Roaming Form Gimmighoul. Every time you send a Postcard after this, you’ll get a Gold Lure Module, if you don’t have one already.

If you already have a Gold Lure in your item bag when sending a Postcard to Pokemon Scarlet or Violet, you will get a Gimmighoul Coin instead.
And every Gimmighoul Coin you collect means you’re one step closer to evolving Gimmighoul into Gholdengo!
How to Use Gold Lure Modules
To use a Golden Lure Module in Pokemon GO, you must walk up to a PokeStop and tap on it. Then, press the Lure Module Slot and select a Golden Lure Module from your inventory.
Activating Golden Lure Modules works exactly the same as any other Lure Module.

What Do Golden Lure Modules Do in Pokemon GO?
Golden Lure Modules turn normal PokeStops into Golden PokeStops. These Golden PokeStops can give you Gimmighoul Coins and more items than a regular PokeStop when spun.
Additionally, any Golden PokeStop with a Golden Lure Module on it can attract a Roaming Form Gimmighoul for you to catch!
Luckily, there’s another way to catch Gimmighoul in Pokemon GO that doesn’t require a Gold Lure!
