FIFA 23 Team Of The Year (TOTY) – Details & Release Date

FIFA 23’s Team of the Year is one of the biggest promotions of the FIFA calendar.

This promo will feature the best of the best with the players included receiving some of the highest-rated cards in the whole game!

The FIFA 23 community will also have a say in who makes the team as the squad is selected through a community voting system!

What is FIFA 23 Team of the Year (TOTY)?

FIFA 23 Team of the Year is a squad of 12 players who have been voted in as the best player in their positions.

These players will be boosted by a large amount with their overall often being in the mid to high 90s. This makes them some of the best players to own and use in FIFA.

The Team of the Year will include:

• 1 Goalkeeper
• 4 Defenders
• 3 Midfielders
• 3 Attackers
• The TOTY 12th man

TOTY Honourable Mentions

There will also be a squad of TOTY Honourable Mentions. These will be players selected from the voting nominees.

They are players who missed out on making the official TOTY squad. These players will still receive pretty good upgrades but not to the scale of Team of the Year items.

In FIFA 22, there were 15 players in this squad.

There have been no leaks or announcements for the Honourable Mentions item design yet!

When is FIFA 23 Team of the Year Voting?

Team of the Year voting will begin on 20 January 2023. No time has been provided as to when the voting period will start on this date.

However, based on previous FIFA 23 releases, the likely time would be 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT.

FIFA 23 Team of the Year Release Date & Time

The Team of the Year will begin on 27 January 2023 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT.

There will be five separate releases across the promo and these will all be released at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT on their dates.

• Friday, 27 January 2023 – TOTY Attackers in Packs
• Sunday, 29 January 2023 – TOTY Midfielders in Packs
• Tuesday, 31 January 2023 – TOTY Defenders in Packs
• Thursday, 2 February 2023 – Full TOTY in Packs
• Friday, 3 February 2023 – TOTY 12th Man & Honourable Mentions

This promo will end on 10 February 2023 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT.
