This month’s Pokemon GO Community Day is a big deal for Niantic, which is adding some bonus rewards for all players.
Whether you’re a fan of this month’s featured Pokemon or not, it’s well worth getting involved in the June Community Day.
Now, Niantic is adding some bonus incentives to get players moving in June. Not only is fan-favorite Pokemon Deino making its Community Day debut, but you’ll also get some bonus rewards for participating in the event.
Take a look at everything we know about the Deino Community Day in Pokemon GO here!

Pokemon GO fans will get some additional items for taking part in this Community Day, but only in certain areas.
In dozens of major cities around the globe, Niantic brand ambassadors will be handing out exclusive goodies to players. Players will be able to spot distinctive Niantic booths in certain areas marked with an orange pin to receive some special swag.
Niantic Community Day takes place from 11 AM – 2 PM local time on Saturday, June 25. Unsurprisingly, the fact that Community Days now only last 3 hours is one of Pokemon GO players’ biggest complaints!
In other areas where Niantic isn’t personally in attendance, the company is boosting Pokemon GO item discovery. Areas marked blue on the map below will feature an exclusive bonus where trainers will receive extra items for spinning PokeStops.

No matter where you’re based though, you’ll be able to help the environment just by taking part.
“For every player who moves 5km, we’ll plant 1 tree (up to 100,000 trees)”, Niantic’s new blog post reads. “So far we’ve planted 200,000 trees thanks to players who participated in our April and May Community Day events”
In addition, in honor of those players who are limited in mobility, the developer is planting an additional 1000 trees. Recently, fans have been criticizing Pokemon GO for being ‘impossible’ for disabled players, so this is a nice touch.
But it’s not all good news. After all, Pokemon GO players are already frustrated with the upcoming Community Day!
And it seems that raid battles are also getting harder in Pokemon GO’s new event!
