Microsoft giving out free Xbox gift cards for the Xbox Spring Sale
Various Xbox users from across the internet are reporting that Microsoft has sent them a free Xbox gift card, which can be used on games, add-ons, movies, and apps on the Microsoft Store. So far, we’ve seen reports of those in the US receiving $5 and those in the UK receiving £4. If you’re from elsewhere in the world, let us know down in the comments if you’ve also received this free store credit and how much you’ve been blessed with.
To see if you’ve been given a free gift card, check your messages from Xbox on either the Xbox mobile app or on your Xbox console. It will also be worth checking the messages of your second account if you have one, as these gift cards tend to go to accounts that don’t spend a lot on the Xbox Store.
