Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase has officially been ruled out of Saturday’s contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Zac Taylor confirmed Chase will miss Saturday’s game while speaking to the media on Thursday.

Reports earlier this week indicated Chase was likely to miss some time, including Saturday’s game, but Taylor refused to comment on Chase’s status in his press conference Tuesday.
He has not been a participant in practice this week.
Chase left Saturday’s win against Minnesota in the second half shortly after hauling in a catch that converted a 3rd and 21. He was seen in a hoodie on the sideline for the game’s final minutes and overtime.
The LSU product leads Cincinnati in receptions (93), receiving yards (1,156) and touchdown receptions (7) this season. He’s also led the team in receiving yards in three of the four games started by Jake Browning, having totaled 22 receptions for 323 yards and a touchdown in games started by the Bengals’ backup.

Saturday will mark the first game Chase has missed this season.
The Steelers will also be without a critical piece of their defense, with safety Minkah Fitzpatrick set to miss Saturday’s game due to a knee injury.
