The NFL refs have taken a beating in recent days.
And it didn’t stop on Monday night during the Green Bay Packers-New York Giants game.
A day after Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid publicly blasted the officials over a call in the Kansas City Chiefs’ loss to the Buffalo Bills, Troy Aikman was next up in his criticism of the crew he was watching officiate the “Monday Night Football” game at MetLife Stadium.
Aikman unloaded on the refs at the end of the first half when they were taking a long time to make up their mind on a call after a Packers kickoff.
“Just make the call,” said Aikman, who was calling the Packers-Giants game on ABC with Joe Buck. “There’s 13 seconds left in the half. Just make a decision and this is what stops all of these games. The officials I know they’ve been talked about every week but this is ridiculous what we’re watching right now.”
While Packers fans aren’t always fond of Aikman, social media was certainly in agreement with the former quarterback on this one.
