The lights on another edition of The Game Awards have been switched off, heralding in new announcements and more worthy winners. Below you shall find a list of All The Game Awards 2023 Winners, from the Game of the Year accolade right the way through to the genre awards and eSports winners. As much as I was personally rooting for either RE4R or Mario Wonder to take home GOTY this year, Baldur's Gate 3's win is one million percent deserved and I'm over the moon for Larian

So happy BG3 won GOTY as its incredible and i'm very happy Alan Wake 2 won a few awards as well.
I'm just happy that Pikmin 4 won an award.
I'm glad to see Alan Wake 2 win so much because that was one of my favourites of the year. I had a few issues with some of the gameplay, but everything else about it was great.
Nothing particularly surprising about the winners. I'm not a D&D person so Baldur's Gate looks too complicated for me.
Very, very happy to see BG3 take the GotY Award. I was saying prior to it’s full release that it would win, (I pre-ordered the Early Access version of the game on the PC, so have been playing the game for years) and it is good to be proven correct. The game is a masterpiece. Truly something special, and I am absolutely chuffed that Larian took home the title.
Now, as I stayed up to watch the entire show and it has just gone 4 a.m, it’s time for bed…!🤪

Seems there were a few nice surprises announced. Will have a better look a bit later.
So happy to see Alan Wake win so many awards and to see Sam Lake dancing for Herald of Darkness. Well earned for BG3 too, even if I was team Alan Wake. I was actually pleasantly surprised that I agreed with many of the winning choices. Glad to see FF16 win for soundtrack.
This year had been an amazing year for games in general. Regardless of which game won, I think we had plenty for 2023. I’m just happy that there’s a lot of great games for everyone to choose from for this year

Kinda wish RE4 Remake won an award but I totally understand why Baldur's Gate 3 and Allen Wake 2 won so many awards.

Another huge winner, in a category that wasn’t actually a category, was the woodwind player during that Game of the Year live orchestral medley. That guy was KILLING IT!!! Last time a woodwind instrument was played with that much swagger was the saxophone player in “The Lost Boys”.
I think the real odd one out here is best multiplayer game to BG3. I think it reveals the weakness of this year and of gaming the past few years- we aren't getting very good AAA multiplayer experiences like used to be commonplace. Battlefield and COD used to compete for the plaudits, and games like Gears, StarCraft 2, and Overwatch were really nice. We even got great multiplayer in single player games like Uncharted, the Last of Us, Resistance.

I was happy to see Alan Wake 2 get some awards. The game is definitely a trip.
Glad BG3 won, I don't even like it THAT much but it clearly deserved it regardless and BG3 winning also means that Alan Walk 2 didn't win. Which is a huge win in my book

@zhoont – To be fair, I feel like Street Fighter 6 had a solid case for winning it, but yeah, looking at the nominees, it ain’t a great list, especially if you take those two out.

@Ichiban Well they did release 5 games to Sony's 1 😂 and TLOU tv show won an award, Atleast Sony had a nomination for the top award, no ones going to remember best sound design and best sport game come this time next year.

Im glad cyberpunk got a mention, If it released this year in its final version state it would have trounced the opposition. Was worth the wait…

As a developer and publisher you are partly right, though TLOU picked up best adaptation. (edit)
But as a platform holder PlayStation and their players won big, they have the most number of winners available to play on their platform, only 5 aren’t available, and the biggest winner Baldurs Gate 3 was a console exclusive for 4 months, until tonight.
Compare that to Xbox where 7 games aren’t available, Switch has 12.
TLDR: Forget companies, PlayStation PLAYERS win.
I guess everyone expected the Goty to go to BG3.
What pleasantly surprised me is that Alan Wake 2 got so many awards, well deserved tbh.
@themightyant how was Bg3 a console exclusive? It was on PC three years prior.

They gave 2 awards to crappy Forza and nothing to Spider Man 2. It's clear who showed up with the money this year.

@UltimateOtaku91 May have a point there. Can't for the life of me remember what won best racing/sports game last year. Must have been extremely forgettable.

@OM1993 Probably Fifa or some racing game, if a decent racing game comes out that year then they pretty much guaranteed to win it, as not many great sports games come out every year apart from the usual yearly rehashed crap.

Dude, even though I personally find the always online DRM a complete turn off there's no question that outside of that Forza is a pretty good racing game.

It agree, but as successful as the game has been some corners of the internet got their own way in seeing the game snubbed. Never mind, it's set to be the biggest selling game of the year so it wins on that front.

I agree! Frankly is was a true Indie game and really did deserve to win. Such a wonderful, wonderful game.
I hope this award helps more people to discover it.
Hopefully 2024 is a bigger year for PlayStation on the gaming side. Rise of the Ronin shaping up to be a good start to the year.
Those eSports nominations… less than 0.001% of gamers know who they are.
I am confused why Cyberpunk got best ongoing game. It had updates and an expansion but I don't consider that ongoing. Fortnight, FF14, No Mans Sky I would consider ongoing.
