The Huskers head coach spoke ahead of Friday’s game against Iowa.
University of Nebraska football head coach Matt Rhule announced that Chubba Purdy will start as quarterback in Friday’s Heroes Game against Iowa. “I’m excited for him to, you know, put two games in a row, back to back,” said Rhule.
The Huskers head coach also spoke about Ty Robinson’s announcement Tuesday to return for his sixth season.
“I think he recognizes the growth he’s made this year and recognizes, you know, the opportunity for him to continue to grow under Terrance and play another year,” says Rhule. “I think he’s having a good experience. So, you know, he’s one of my favorite guys, just as a person. I’m just so happy he’s coming back.”
