The Dallas Cowboys’ easy run of schedule continues this week when they travel to play the team with the inside pick to the No. 1 draft pick, the 1-8 Carolina Panthers.
The Cowboys are back in a good place after routing another poor team, the New York Giants, as with the exception of the loss to Arizona, Dallas has dominated losing teams.
Dak Prescott is suddenly hot, the defense continues to make plays, and Dallas’ inability to get over the hump against Super Bowl contenders won’t be an issue for another two weeks.
Dallas is in Carolina to take on the Panthers. Kick is set for Noon Central time and 11 a.m. Mountain time on Sunday, Nov. 19, on FOX
A week after being favored (and covering easily) by 16.5, the Cowboys are 10.5-point favorites, which is about the same when adjusting for home field. The over-under is 42.5, so Dallas is expected to win along the lines of 26-16.
On the money line, Dallas is -520 and Carolina is +390.
The regular-season game of the year, a possible Super Bowl preview, is Monday night when the NFC leading Philadelphia Eagles travel to play the AFC leading Kansas City Chiefs. That game will be broadcast on ABC and ESPN.
The top game Sunday is on opposite the Cowboys, when the 6-3 Pittsburgh Steelers are at the 6-3 Cleveland Browns. The Noon CST and 11 a.m. MST kickoff will be on CBS.
In terms of records, the other game featuring teams with non-losing records is the 6-3 Miami Dolphins hosting the 5-5 Los Angeles Raiders at 11 a.m.
