Atlus seems to have resolved the issue now
Atlus’ new tactical RPG Persona 5 Tactica might not be out until next week, but there are apparently some lucky fans out there who have already been able to access and play the game.
As highlighted on social media and elsewhere, it seems the Steam version of the game has gone live a week ahead of its 17th November 2023 launch, enabling fans to check out the game much earlier than expected.
Atlus and co eventually caught onto this, but for anyone who was playing the title at the time, there’s a chance they might still be able to access the game in Steam’s offline mode. Fans have noted online how this isn’t the first time something like has happened with an Atlus release, with some recent promotional content also leaking.
So, there you go – for once it’s not a Switch version of a game being leaked first. Still, consider this a warning that there might now be spoilers for the game floating about.

I just…man, this game looks really, really rough to me. Mostly the aesthetic. Are chibi mall goths like irreverent murder junkie ICP fans, but…weaby? What's the crossover there? Is Hot Topic still a thing?!? Where am I?

Loved when they put Persona 5 on Switch but this game Im just feeling no hype for whatsoever, forgot it was even coming out.

Persona 5 has worn out its welcome for me. Waiting for the next big Persona.

I get that leaks happen, but when it's the company itself that does it then it's absolutely ridiculous!
Oh well, hope the people who got it this way are enjoying Tactica… as long as they don't go out of their way to spoil others, that is!

I once released a (mobile) game early by accident too, luckily it was only in two countries. Someone left me in charge of updating the build in two countries which had early beta access and didn’t properly explain the process to me so I actually released it in those two countries… lol, we are all juniors at some point in our lives. Now it’s just a happy anecdote xD

Sega probably did it on purpose so to strive sales away from the Super Mario RPG and Star Ocean 2 remakes. As we all know this game came out same month as those two and is a brand new game.
