Cheyenne – The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission’s next meeting is Nov. 14-15 in Cody. The meeting will be held at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s Cody Regional Office, 2 Tilden Trail. The public is invited to attend in-person or online via ZOOM video conferencing and will have a chance to speak to the Commission on any matter.
The Commission will be asked to approve Chapter 2, General Hunting Regulation, and management objectives for the Paintrock, Pumpkin Buttes and Upper Powder River mule deer and Cooper Lake pronghorn herds. Additionally, the Commission will be asked to approve and provide direction on the following projects: the acquisition of property adjacent to the Jelm Wildlife Habitat Management Area, a 10-year renewal of a public access lease at the Rawhide Wildlife Management Area, a livestock grazing plan at the Ellis Wildlife Habitat Management Area and the acquisition of a game warden station in Powell.
Planned informational presentations by the department include an update on the employee housing project in Jackson, the Game and Fish’s recruitment and retention efforts, landowner licenses and instream flow work.

To participate via ZOOM, links to join the meeting for each day are available on the Commission webpage. Given the nature of the meeting, the agenda is subject to change and items may be presented earlier or later than the listed times.
