In this day and age, the lines between video games and reality are increasingly becoming blurred as technology and software continue to advance at rapid rates.
In recent months, Unreal Engine 5 gameplay was making the social media rounds which showcased a shooter with unparalleled visuals which had to be seen to be believed. To put it bluntly, this bodycam footage looked like it was taken straight from a tactical police officer. Yet, it was from an upcoming game called Unrecord developed by indie studio DRAMA coming to PC in the near future (hopefully).

Well, now it seems that other titles inspired by other bodycam games are on the way and, to be honest, as incredible as this recent footage looks, this horror game looks a bit on the nose. It kind of reminds me of all the P.T clones post-2014.
However, what perhaps sets this other bodycam footage game apart from Unrecord is that it will be a survival horror shooter. Other than giving me major Unrecord vibes, it also appeared to have a hint of the legendary F.E.A.R.
The horror game in question is called Lost Fragment, not to be confused with the upcoming RPG from Critical Failure Studio, Lost Fragments. The horror game Lost Fragment is being developed by the Japanese-based team of Ninhil Inane Studio and like Unrecord, it is also powered by Unreal Engine 5. Countless video uploads are being shared on YouTube, dubbing this shooter as ‘the most realistic game ever’.
Regardless of its similarities to Unrecord, this early gameplay footage of Lost Fragment set in a creepy hospital looks incredible, but we won’t know whether it plays as well as it looks until it is eventually released. Having an impressive trailer go viral is one thing, but that is soon followed by lofty expectations from the video game community. Will Lost Fragment live up to its potential? Only time will tell.
For now, at least, Lost Fragment is being developed for PC with no word of a release on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
