A brand-new Warzone map is on the way for MW3, and Activision is offering fans a quick tease before the full reveal at COD NEXT.
Warzone 2 (now renamed to simply, Warzone) is certainly Activision’s main priority, even with the launch of MW3 just around the corner.
Now, as the Battle Royale’s first anniversary quickly approaches, we’ve got a new map ready to debut in Warzone that may make Verdansk fans rather happy.
First Tease of New MW3 Warzone Map
The new Warzone map that will accompany the launch of MW3 is already being teased on the Call of Duty Facebook page.
In a recent post, Activision promises that the upcoming COD NEXT event, set to debut on October 5, 2023, will showcase a new Warzone map premiere.
What’s more, it appears that Raven Software will be giving us a deep dive on what to expect from the new map, and content creators will be showing off first-hand gameplay from the new BR arena.

But what’s particularly exciting is that the teaser also comes with our first look at the map itself! The image shown off features a dock in the midst of a bustling city, with buildings that remind us of Verdansk’s iconic residential areas.
Eagle-eyed fans have already spotted what appears to be a Redeploy Drone in the sky, indicating that movement options will be available.
And the map’s focus on vertical gameplay, at least in this image, indicates that snipers and fans of long-range combat should really enjoy this new POI.
How to Watch New MW3 Warzone Map Reveal
COD NEXT will kick off on October 5, 2023 and show off more of what to expect from the new MW3 Warzone map. A live stream will be available at the following locations:
As for when the map will be released, we’d expect it to drop alongside Season 1 of MW3, which should arrive in December 5, 2023, going by past leaks.
