Toby Fox, the creator of the beloved indie game Undertale and its successor, Deltarune, has provided fans with an eagerly awaited update on the progress of Deltarune Chapter 3. In his latest newsletter, Fox revealed that the development team is hard at work on the new chapter, and it’s now “playable from beginning to end.” While the chapter isn’t quite finished yet, the team is making steady progress, as Fox explained, “Can’t say it’s finished yet, but the unfinished parts are certainly seeming less and less numerous. That’s good because try as I might to sleep, until the game is finished, I’ll see nothing but nightmares…”
Fox also shared insights into the game’s development process, mentioning a “stealth-focused section” that was considered but ultimately didn’t make it into the final version. The song that was originally intended for this section has been made available online for fans to listen to.
