Need some guidance with Monster Hunter Now Maps? Unsure how the game map should look, or just curious to know more about the world in general, then settle into this guide where we take you through all you need to know!
Monster Hunter Now is the latest entry in the Monster Hunter franchise! However, this one is a little different when compared to the rest. Niantic, the company that developed Pokémon GO is behind this brand-new project. It’s basically IRL Monster Hunter – what’s not to love? Hunt monsters using augmented technology and collect a variety of powerful weapons to help you along the way. Players can also unite with friends in battles against the more powerful foes in this ever-evolving game.
You can learn more about it on the official site. We also recommend checking out our Monster Hunter Now Guide, or maybe our Monster Hunter Now Tier List, how about this Monster Hunter Now Weapons Guide?
Monster Hunter Now – Maps
Let us get straight into the guide
Is There A Map?
The short answer is no. The long answer is that our world IS the Monster Hunter Now world. As you explore you will realise the layout mimics that of maps for Earth including street pathways, bodies of water, and bodies of grassland with no obvious pathing.
As this is a Niantic project, it’s not unheard of to have this type of layout for a game. Pokémon Go, the distant cousin to Monster Hunter Now also uses the real world to plot its points of interest. This approach to a game is incredibly unique and allows players to connect to their surroundings more and feel more immersed within the game.
How To Fix If Map Is Not Working Within Game
If your map isn’t loading in when you enter the game this could be due to a settings fault. To fix this, go into your phone settings and locate the games icon. Make sure you’re enabling location services so the game can track where you are in your region. This allows the game to generate your map based on your real-world location.
