Apple has just unveiled the new iPhone 15 series tonight, which are led by the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max smartphones. The upcoming flagship phone lineup is set to change the mobile gaming space with some impressive announcements.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage
The company has also announced that Apple iPhone 15 Pro series will bring native support for Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage game in the first half of 2024. This means that an upcoming AAA PC and console title from one of the most popular video game franchises in the world will become playable natively on a mobile for the first time ever.
Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil: Village
If that is not impressive enough, the new iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will be the first-ever mobile phone in the world to natively run Resident Evil 4 Remake as well as Resident Evil: Village. Both of Capcom’s titles will be coming to iPhone 15 Pro series later this year.
Apple A17 Pro and Ray Tracing
Apple iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max is set to feature Hardware Accelerated Raytracing, powered by the new Apple A17 Pro chip. Apple A17 Pro chip has a 6-core CPU, split between 2 high-performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. It has a 6-core GPU, offering 20% more performance. All of this allows for better mobile gaming performance and experience.
Apple claims that the new Apple iPhone 15 Pro series will feature the “fastest ray tracing performance in any smartphone.” The hardware accelerated raytracing is capable of providing 4 times better performance, as compared to software ray tracing.
Death Stranding and The Division Resurgence
Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding will also be playable on the new iPhone 15 Pro series and it will be released later this year. Ubisoft’s The Division Resurgence will also be coming to the upcoming flagship smartphones in Early 2024.
Genshin Impact
That’s not all. HoYoverse, the studio behind Genshin Impact, will also be bringing new high-quality water effects such as reflections and waves to Honkai: Star Rail, thanks to the new Apple A17 Pro chip. HoYoverse also mentioned that the A17 Pro’s GPU and its MetalFX Upscaling technology have allowed them to bring faster response times to Genshin Impact.
