PS5 players have been waiting to partake in the joys of Baldur’s Gate 3, and at least for some of them, that wait has ended.
The early access coming with the Collector’s Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition is now open, and Larian release a trailer to welcome the new adventurers treading the lands of the Forgotten Realms today.
The trailer showcases pretty much everything PC players have been experiencing, from the massive freedom of action and choice that comes with the game, to romance and plenty of conflict.
It also shows the ways you can stretch the game to its limits, many of which have become pretty much memes, like filling an enemy stronghold with explosive barrels and then let it rip.
You can watch the trailer below while you wait for the download to end (unless you preloaded the game, of course) or for the actual release to happen on September 6.
Of course, the game has been available for PC for a few weeks, and you can read our review in which our Erren Van Duine depicts it as “a masterful experience filled to the brim with player choice, a deep narrative and expansive world building.”
It’s worth mentioning that Xbox Series X|S users won’t be left out for too long, as a version fo Microsoft’s consoles is expected by the end of the year, with a blocking issue solved by removing split-screen co-op from the Xbox Series S.
In the meanwhile, Larian has been busy updating the PC version, which just received another major patch a couple of days ago.
