Can You Change Your Name in Starfield?
Yes, you can change your name in Starfield by visiting any of the Enhance! shops located in all of the major cities.
Enhance! shops allow you to completely recustomize your character, bringing you back to the character creation menu from the beginning of the game.
In this menu, you can change your name and pronouns as well as the physical aspects of your character, including your hair, facial hair, face, body, and more.
However, you will need to pay a 500 credit fee every time you use the Enhance! shop. While this is moderately inexpensive, if you plan on changing your name a lot, you better start earning money fast.
You can use the Enhance! Shops as soon as you find them, including at the beginning of the game when you land in New Atlantis.
So, don’t worry about being stuck with the name you picked at the start. If you want to change your name but don’t want to start a new save, visit any of the Enhance! shops and pay the 500 credit fee.
