UFC 5 fans will soon get an early taste of the game, thanks to the recently announced Closed Beta just around the corner!
EA Sports has officially opened its registration page for the UFC 5 Closed Beta, allowing players to sign up for a chance to receive a code.
Here’s how to get access to the UFC 5 Beta, when you will be able to play, and any FAQs you may have about the game:
UFC 5 Beta Registration – How to Sign Up to Get a Code
To sign up for a chance to receive a UFC 5 Closed Beta code:
- Go to the UFC 5 Closed Beta Registration page.
- Sign in to your EA Account or create an account if you don’t already have one.
- Scroll down and select your platform and region. You will also need to agree to the EA Terms & Conditions.
- You can choose PS5 (North America), PS5 (Other Regions), or Xbox Series X|S.
- The Beta is available in English only, with multiple languages at launch.

- Click Submit.
- Codes will be sent out in late August via email. Only select registrants will receive one.
- This will be on the email linked to your EA Account. If it doesn’t come through after some time, you may also want to check your ‘Junk’ mail.

Please note: Signing up does NOT guarantee you will receive a code. However, you are likely to, and it is required to be in with a chance of receiving one.
EA may also favor and give previous UFC 4 players a chance to try an early version of the new game.
Interestingly, the description of the new registration page also confirms that UFC 5 will add “all-new damage systems and doctor stoppages.” These are entirely new features to the UFC game, and it seems the Beta will be the first time players can try them out.

When Does the UFC 5 Beta Start?
Although EA hasn’t yet confirmed a specific date, the UFC 5 Beta will likely go live as soon as codes are distributed towards the end of August. It will only be available for a limited time.
We will update this article with the start and end dates as soon as EA begins sending out emails.
Meanwhile, here are answers to some of the most common questions regarding the Beta:
How do I provide UFC 5 Beta feedback?
EA has set up a private feedback forum linked to your email invitation. If you encounter any issues during the Beta, it is encouraged that you let EA know via the forum.
One of the main reasons for EA giving fans a chance to play an early version of the game is so the players can provide helpful feedback. This allows EA to make any necessary changes and fix issues before launch, as was the case with UFC 4.
What modes will be available?
It seems you can only play online matches during the Beta. You will likely need to wait until launch to play Career and other modes.
Will my Beta progress transfer to the full game?
No, your stats and any progression you make in the Beta will not carry over to the full game when it launches.
Can I share content from the Beta?
No, you cannot share any videos or screenshots from the Beta. Captures are usually blocked on Closed Betas as well.
Streaming Beta footage is also against the T&Cs and will revoke your access.
