Dead By Daylight is adding a new horror icon to its treasure trove of villains, as the Xenomorph from the classic Alien franchise will be prowling into the Dead By Daylight universe sometime soon.
Developer Behavior Interactive showcased a teaser trailer on Tuesday that showed off some shots of a broken down, terrorized-looking ship, ending with the Xenomorph appearing from the darkness and lunging towards the camera.
The Xenomorph strikes a classic and still terrifying figure, and while Dead By Daylight already has some bigtime classic monster-movie villains for players to choose from, adding Alien to the list definitely bumps things up a notch.
This also opens the door for Ellen Ripley to potentially join the list of Survivors, or even her daughter, Amanda Ripley, who stars in the critically acclaimed horror game Alien: Isolation.
Tuesday’s trailer is just a small teaser, though next week on August 8, 2023 we can expect to hear a lot more about the coming expansion, and when exactly players can sink their two different sets of teeth into an unsuspecting Nicolas Cage.
