If it looks like a Pokemon, fights like a Pokemon, and sounds like a Pokemon, then it probably is a… Pal. A new trailer of Palworld has been released.
The trailer showcases Anubis, one of the Pal that will appear in the upcoming monster-collecting game, and if you hear the name, you probably know what it looks like without watching. It basically looks like a cuter version of the Egyptian god Anubis.
The big difference with a Pokemon, which goes for all the critters in Palworld, is that you can shoot it, as the game introduces a brand new third-person shooter into the popular monster-collecting formula that fans of Game Freak’s games are intimately familiar with.
You can check out Anubis in action below. I have to admit that looking at a monster that looks so much like a Pokemon being shot feels somewhat… unholy.

Anubis is described as “the king of the desert, whose high intelligence and otherworldly combat abilities slaughter all who stand in his way.”
