There’s an incredible new skin coming to Fortnite very soon, but is it a collaboration with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
Despite Fortnite being fond of a good collaboration, The Elder Scrolls is one of the few major franchises it seems the Battle Royale is yet to snap up.
Now though, it appears that a new skin could finally be giving Tamriel some much-needed representation in Epic Games’ BR title.
But those hoping for Skyrim and its Dragonborn to come to Fortnite will be left disappointed.
Is Skyrim Coming to Fortnite?
No, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is not getting an official Fortnite skin. The new Dragonborn-esque skin arriving in Epic Games’ Battle Royale is actually the ‘Berserker’ from The Elder Scrolls Online.
That’s right, the ‘Skyrim’ skin you might have seen making the rounds online is actually an unnamed hero from ESO, Bethesda’s popular MMORPG title.
Although the Berserker doesn’t look dissimilar to Skyrim’s Dragonborn, courtesy of his leather armor and horned helmet, he’s not perhaps what all fans were hoping for.

Who is the Berserker in Fortnite?
There’s good news for Skyrim fans, however, as the Berserker is in-fact a Nord.
The unnamed character hails from the same region in which The Elder Scrolls 5 takes place, and he has featured in much of ESO’s promotional material over the years.
For those unaware, Nords are a race of men from the province of Skyrim, known for their resistance to frost as well as their prowess as warriors.
Seeing as the Dragonborn could technically be any race of the player’s choosing (from Nords, to Khajiit, to Elves), it would be difficult to portray the Skyrim character accurately in Fortnite.
With that in mind, we’re happy with how The Elder Scrolls Online’s Berserker skin looks. Fans will likely recognize the iconic character from the game’s artwork and cinematic trailers even if they haven’t played the MMO for themselves.
And if Epic Games was looking to capture some Skyrim nostalgia with this collab, we’d say mission accomplished.
