PlayStation Game Size on Twitter has revealed the Final Fantasy XVI PS5 download sizes, and if you haven’t previously given your hard drive a spring clean, it might be a good idea, as it weighs in at 90.18GB.
If you’re buying the digital version of Final Fantasy XVI then you’ll be able to preload the game starting tomorrow, so keep that in mind.
You can download a playable Final Fantasy XVI demo now for PS5, which features the first couple of hours of the game. Furthermore, any progress you make can be transferred to the full version of the game. Square Enix held a pre-release stream earlier this month, where it revealed that both Platinum Games and the Kingdom Hearts team helped out in development.

Final Fantasy XVI was originally considered for release on both PS5 & PS4, although producer Naoki Yoshida said that it would have required around one-two years of development to reach a level of quality the team was happy with for a cross-generation release.
Meanwhile, Yoshida-san explained that the game’s Mature rating materialised due to the fact regulations are stricter nowadays due to the increase in visual fidelity in video games.
