Payday 3’s release date may have just leaked through dataminer Aggiornamenti Lumia, who claims the release date will fall on September 21, 2023.
The only previous official word we’ve had on the release date is that it will land sometime in 2023, an update that was provided at the beginning of this year in January.
If it is indeed set for September, then it’s quite likely the official announcement for the release date is scheduled to appear during Summer Games Fest’s opening show, which will take place this coming Thursday.

Developer Starbreeze Entertainment has yet to comment on the leak, though realistically its unlikely any action would be taken if the announcement truly is a few days off at this point.
Payday 3 sets the franchise in New York, and brings back the original gang from the first game, though not entirely by their own choice, it would seem. We don’t know a whole lot more about the narrative Payday 3 will follow, though fans will no doubt appreciate seeing Dallas, Hoxton, Chains and Wolf back in action.
