Pearl Abyss has introduced a new global trailer for Black Desert Land of the Morning Light, its first large-scale content expansion to Black Desert Online for 2023. Coming to Europe and North America in June, Black Desert Land of the Morning Light is a new mythical continent that is filled with light and dark dichotomies: moral fables of action and consequence, likeable and troublesome characters, day and night cycles, and light and dark forces.
The new trailer showcases the bright and lively side of the Black Desert Land of the Morning Light, featuring breathtaking landscapes, traditional architecture of the time, and unique vegetation that are reminiscent of the Joseon period, the last dynastic kingdom of Korea.

Beneath the region’s serenity, however, resides a mystery that casts a shadow of fear over its peaceful populace. Deadly perils await Adventurers who dare explore the deeper regions beyond Black Desert Land of the Morning Light’s rural allure. Adventurers will be tasked to solve the island’s riddles and confront the powerful forces that terrorise its inhabitants. More intriguing details for the upcoming expansion will be unveiled on a weekly basis.
To celebrate Black Desert Land of the Morning Light’s June arrival, Pearl Abyss invites Adventurers to log in to enjoy benefits for a limited time period. Starting tomorrow and up until June 7, players can obtain up to 21 days worth of Value Pack, Blessing of Kamasylve, Secret Book of Old Moon by logging in to Black Desert Online every day. These items provide several buffs to help Adventurers on their journey.
