Niantic has finally announced the three cities across the world that will be hosting the real-life 2023 Pokemon GO Fest events and when they will be taking place.

What Is Pokemon GO Fest?
Pokemon GO Fest is the biggest Pokemon GO event of the year and takes place every Summer. It is made up of three real-world events, which take place in cities across the world, as well as a Global event later in the Summer.
Pokemon GO Fest usually features the debut of a new Mythical, Legendary, and shiny Pokemon, as well as the appearance of region-exclusive Pokemon in different locations.
Additionally, there is plenty of exclusive Special Research and Collection Challenges for GO Fest attendees to complete.
If you want to take part in one of the real-world events, you must buy a ticket and attend one of the GO Fests in person. Alternatively, players can participate in the Global GO Fest anywhere in the world, however, this is also a ticketed experience.
Pokemon GO Fest 2023 Locations & Dates
There are three in-person Pokemon GO Fest events in 2023. They will be taking place in London, Osaka, and New York City on the following dates:
- London, England: August 4-6
- Osaka, Japan: August 4-6
- New York City, USA: August 18-20
Where to Buy 2023 Pokemon GO Fest Tickets
Pokemon GO fans can buy tickets for the 2023 GO Fest events on the Pokemon GO website. This is the only place where you can purchase them.
Before purchasing tickets, players must log in using their Pokemon GO account, and there is a maximum of six tickets per person.

Pokemon GO Fest 2023: Global Dates
The Pokemon GO Fest 2023: Global event is taking place on Saturday, August 26, and Sunday, August 27. Players across the world will be able to take part in this event, provided they purchase a ticket.
Tickets for this event are on sale in the in-game item shop for $14.99 / £13.99 (or local currency equivalent).
What Happened in Pokemon GO Fest 2022?
The highlights of Pokemon GO Fest 2022, which took place in Seattle, Berlin, and Sapporo, were the debut of the Mythical Pokemon Shaymin in Pokemon GO as well as the first Ultra-Beast sighting.
For the first time ever in Pokemon GO, Ultra Wormholes opened, and the Ultra beast Nihilego was available to catch.
Additionally, there were over a dozen new shiny Pokemon added to the game as well as new Research and Collection Challenges for players to complete!
