The first teaser poster for Peacock’s Twisted Metal series has emerged via IGN, featuring Anthony Mackie in the driver’s seat with Sweet Tooth’s iconic van in the background.

Twisted Metal will feature 10 episodes and we’ll be getting the teaser trailer tomorrow, April 27. The series is based on the popular PlayStation vehicular combat series, and its creative team is formed by writer Michael Jonathan Smith and show runners Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick.
Twisted Metal follows “a motor-mouthed outsider [who is] offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.” The cast is fleshed out with Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Seanoa, Will Arnett, and Thomas Haden Church.
The series was filmed in New Orleans from May — August 2022 and will air on Peacock on July 27, 2023.
