Fraser Bromley has developed a PSOne-style Dead Space Demake, giving the popular survival horror title a 1998 makeover so you can dismember pixellated necromorphs in all their blocky glory.
The Dead Space Demake offers around 10 β15 minutes of gameplay and is available to download for free to play on Windows PCs. βItβs a bit hard to say though because I got so good at speed running it while making it,β Brumley said on Twitter.
The original Dead Space was released back in 2008 on the PS3 and Xbox 360, where it was developed by Visceral Games, who sadly went defunct after producing two full-fledged sequels. The series then went on ice for nearly a decade, with EA Motive resurrecting the series with Dead Space Remake on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

So, whatβs next for Dead Space? While EA has not announced anything yet, the publisher reportedly polled a number of fans on whether theyβd be interested in remakes of Dead Space 2 & 3, so thereβs a chance we could see Isaac Clarke return for more dismembering antics in the near future.
