As confirmed by the Game Pass app, Remedy’s sci-fi third-person shooter Quantum Break will leave Xbox Game Pass soon.
It appears that Quantum Break’s time in Xbox Game Pass is coming to an end. Xbox has updated the ‘Leaving soon’ section on the Game Pass app, which now includes Remedy’s third-person shooter.
Quantum Break is leaving Xbox Game Pass soon
Quantum Break
A blockbuster game with time-amplified action and a suspenseful storyline brought to life in a way never done before by fusing gameplay and a gripping live action show. Time itself becomes fractured in a time travel experiment, Jack Joyce fights the secretive Monarch Solutions to put things right before it’s too late. The actions you take and choices you make shape your experience in the show, creating a new and unique entertainment experience.
What’s interesting here is that Quantum Break is published by Xbox Game Studios, and Xbox-published games don’t leave the Game Pass library. In an interview with GI.biz in 2018, Remedy stated that Microsoft does own the Quantum Break IP, so we’re not 100% sure what’s going on. Perhaps the the listing is jut a mistake or there is some other issue here.
Unfortunately, we can’t find a date as to when Quantum Break will leave Game Pass. While it’s likely the game will stick around for two weeks until April 14th, we have seen some games that are randomly added to the ‘Leaving soon’ section of the app drop out with hardly any notice at all — looking at you, We Happy Few.
If you’re looking to complete Quantum Break before it potentially leaves Game Pass, a completion will take around 20 hours, but you might be able to get it done in less time by following our excellent Quantum Break walkthrough.
