The goalkeeping position is always the toughest to choose but with seven saves and a clean sheet, this pick was straightforward. Expect Leno to receive his second TOTW item
Borna Sosa – LB – 78 → 84
1 Goal & Clean Sheet / 3-0 win against FC Koln / 8.6 WhoScored match rating
The Croatian fullback scored and kept a clean sheet in Stuttgart’s 3-0 win. He received the highest match rating by quite a bit.
Amir Rrahmani – CB – 80 → 84
1 Assist & Clean Sheet / 2-0 win against Sassuolo / 7.3 WhoScored match rating
While not receiving the highest rating, the Napoli defender did keep a clean sheet and assisted. There wasn’t much choice for center backs this week and the Serie A man was the main standout.
Trent Alexander-Arnold – RB – 87 → 88

Trent has two assists and two clean sheets from his last two games. In terms of the table, this was a big game which is why we feel EA Sports FIFA will select a player from it.

1 Goal & 1 Assist / 4-1 win against Hertha Berlin / 8.3 WhoScored match rating
The Yellow and Black secured a massive 4-1 win against Herta Berlin. Directly at the heart of the play was none other than BvB legend Marco Reus.

Kevin De Bruyne – CM – 92 → 93
1 Goal & 1 Assist / 3-1 win against Arsenal / 8.0 WhoScored match rating
The Belgian was instrumental in Manchester City’s midweek win against their title rivals. A goal and an assist in a massive game are usually enough criteria to be included in TOTW.
Bruno Fernandes – CAM – 86 → 88
2 Assists / 3-0 win against Leicester City / 9.9 WhoScored match rating
The Portuguese assisted twice against Leicester City giving him an almost perfect match rating. While Rashford scored twice, with the form he is in we feel it will take more than two goals to secure another TOTW item.
Jonas Hofmann – CAM → RM – 88 → 89
1 Goal & 2 Assists / 3-2 win against Bayern Munich / 9.3 WhoScored match rating
At this point, it feels like Hofmann is included in every TOTW prediction every week. However, with a hand in all three goals, and against the current champions, Hofmann has to be included to receive his fourth inform item of FIFA 23!
Dusan Tadic – LW → ST – 84 → 87
2 Goals & 1 Assist / 4-0 win against Sparta Rotterdam / 9.8 WhoScored match rating
The Serbian scored twice and assisted while playing down the center. Tadic is one of Ajax’s most important players and he proves it week in and week out.
Kylian Mbappe – ST – 92 → 93
2 Goals / 4-3 win against Lille / 10 WhoScored match rating
A TOTW for Mbappe would simply add to the plethora of FUT cards he already has. While more than two goals would be needed for a player of his stature, his perfect match rating by WhoScored is hard to ignore.
Ciro Immobile – ST – 87 → 88
2 Goals / 2-0 win against Salernitana / 8.9 WhoScored match rating
The Italian scored mid-week in a European competition and then followed it up with two crucial goals at the weekend. The Lazio forward’s prowess gave his side three points.

Zack Steffen – GK – 77 → 83
9 Saves / 3-1 win against Sheffield United /8.5 WhoScored match rating
The American made a staggering nine saves against Sheffield United. While he didn’t keep a clean sheet, it was still one of the best performances of the week.
Although, this was a midweek game and in the weekend fixture, the keeper made an error leading to a goal. It will be interesting if EA takes this into account.
Seamus Coleman – RB – 76 → 83

An uncharacteristic and unusual goal from the Irishman gave the Toffees a vital win in their fight for survival. Coleman’s goal and clean sheet should be enough to feature whether he meant to score or not.

The Argentine defender opened the scoring and led his side to a clean sheet. With a high match rating, there is a strong chance he is included in TOTW 17.

Two goals for Tavernier make him a strong TOTW 17 contender. Despite his league making him hard to link, he is always a fan favorite in FUT.
Viktor Tsygankov – RM – 80 → 84

Girona’s January signing scored and assisted in this 6-2 rout of Almeria. While Rodriguez achieved the same feat and a high match rating, his recent Future Stars item leans us towards the Ukranian.
Tom Bradshaw – ST – 77 → 83

Bradshaw scored a hattrick making his inclusion fairly easy. With the Welshman’s goals, Millwall could make the promotion playoffs.
Arnaud Kalimuendo – ST – 76 → 83

The Frenchman bagged two goals to earn his side three points. This win kept Rennes’ foot firmly in fifth place.

The Georgian defender scored and then later assisted an 85th-minute winner. His heroics secured all three points for Cracovia.

While predominantly a right-sided midfielder, SofaScore has Bech listed as a CM. With three goals, he is certainly a real contender for FIFA 23 TOTW 17.

Kleindienst is the most confident pick in this squad. With four goals, there is zero chance he does not feature.
