Geralt of Rivia, aka The Witcher, has finally joined Fortnite after first appearing in Chapter 4’s trailer a few months ago.
One of the most anticipated characters to be teased for Fortnite Chapter 4 is The Witcher’s Geralt, alongside the Ageless Champion and Doom Slayer.
Despite Doom Slayer being available right from the start, Geralt was nowhere to be found, but now he’s finally been added to the game.
As in most cases with skins that are released later in the battle pass, you’ll have to complete some quests in order to unlock Geralt and his iconic Silver Sword, but he is now available.
All The Witcher quests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
Geralt of Rivia went live in Fortnite on Tuesday, February 7, about two months after Chapter 4 Season 1 kicked off.
Those interested in unlocking him will have to complete a total of five quests, part of a special event dedicated to his reveal.
Each time you complete one of the quests you’ll receive an item connected to Geralt. Once you complete all five, his outfit will be unlocked and added to your inventory as soon as you return to the lobby.
Here are all the Witcher quests and their rewards:
- Activate Reality Augments in five different matches to unlock the Geralt of Rivia loading screen.
- Complete 3 bounties to unlock the Muscle Memory emote.
- Defeat a boss to unlock the Weapons of The Witcher back bling.
- Emote in the Citadel throne room to unlock the Igni Sign emote.
- Deal 500 melee weapon damage to opponents to unlock the Witcher’s Steel Sword pickaxe.
As you can see, by ticking off the last quest on the list, you’ll also unlock Geralt’s Steel Sword, meaning you won’t have to put any extra effort into acquiring his iconic weapon.
On top of that, if you complete the Fortnite School of Llama challenges you’ll also earn the Geralt of Rivia lobby track, as well as an extra 160,000 XP.
There is also an unrevealed page of items that will become accessible around the start of March, and it’s expected to reveal an alternative style for the Geralt skin – although no one knows what it is just yet.
