Today Level Infinite and Hotta Studio revealed the next major update coming to their sci-fi MMORPG Tower of Fantasy, numbered 2.3.
The new update will be titled “Wandering Amidst Miasma” and will bring new dangers, new story content, and more characters under the spotlight, as showcased in the new trailer that you can enjoy below.
It will release on February 2, in just a couple of weeks.
Interestingly, we also hear that the game will get a “Half-anniversary” celebration, marking half a year since its global release in August 2022. It will launch with the update and promises “events and rewards” aplenty. For the moment, no further information has been provided about the specific events we’ll get to enjoy.
Tower of Fantasy is free-to-play with optional microtransactions and currently available for PC, iOS, and Android, including a recently-released Steam version. Its developers have been rather consistent in updating it with new content since its release, and just recently we saw the addition of the new simulacrum Annabella to the growing roster.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, it’s a sci-fi MMORPG set in the far-away planet Aida, devastated by a cataclysm that destroyed most of the colony established by mankind centuries before. The players have to survive in this hostile environment among the ryins of civilization against increasingly aggressive and mutated monsters, while exploring a mysterious story full of intrigue and adventure.
