If you have ever wanted to live your best cat life, Calico is the go-to game for it. Today, we learned that there will be an update headed to the game on December 22, 2022, titled Calico: Pawsome Edition, and honestly it is the cat’s pajamas.
The sweet little indie game tasks you with something more important than you could ever imagine; you need to rebuild the Cat Cafe and bring in only the latest and greatest decor and the most purrfect kitty cats the world has ever known. There aren’t just precious kittens to interact with either, as players will come into contact with several adorable creatures that are all interactable. All of these creatures can be added to your party, or even sent back to the Cat Cafe to keep the guests company.
The latest update brings new mini-games, including the cooking-mini game where you will need to cut out kitty-shaped donuts and decorate them to your heart’s content. These sweets you create can now be sold for profit in the cafe, which is just one of the many features being added with this update. Plus, there are new animals headed to the game! The trailer showcases more kitties than ever before, an owl, and even a mouse to ride on like a majestic steed. These animals all need some love, but most importantly they need interaction. As with any companion, you will need to cuddle, dance, and pamper them to build your relationship with them.
One of the coolest aspects of this game is the potion system, which allows you to create the experience of a lifetime. Is a regular-sized kitty just not enough for you? There is a potion that gives your kitty the power of growth! Now there is a ginormous cat the size of a skyscraper for you to snuggle up to every night.
Calico: Pawsome Edition is set to release on December 22, 2022, and will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
