You can win $1,000,000 on Fortnite if you come out on top of MrBeast’s Extreme Survival challenge.
Although Fortnite has already featured top streamers such as Ninja, Lachlan, and Loserfruit, YouTuber MrBeast has been on fans’ waiting lists for way too long.
MrBeast is known for giving away huge sums of money to either his viewers or random people he finds on the street, but only if they complete certain tasks. These can range from swimming with sharks to flying to Paris to fetch him a baguette.
Now, he’s finally joining Fortnite as a skin, and he’s also bringing one of his crazy challenges to the battle royale, so you better start preparing if you want to be the lucky one.
When is MrBeast coming to Fortnite?
You don’t need to wait long to run around the island of Fortnite as MrBeast, as you’ll be able to find him in the Item Shop starting Wednesday, December 14.
In fact, there will be two MrBeast outfits in the game, which are likely going to cost around 1,400 V-Bucks (around £8), although Fortnite hasn’t officially confirmed the price yet.
The first pack, called the MrBeast Outfit, includes the hat-on default style and a hatless alt style. Matching this outfit are the following accessories:
- MrBeast ‘Smasher’ pickaxe
- Beast ‘Backdrop’ wrap
The second outfit is called MrBeast6000 and includes a masked default style and a maskless alt style, along with the following cosmetics:
- ‘Prize Package’ back bling (passive and reactive)
- Beast ‘Claw’ pickaxe
- ‘Wrapped and Revved’ glider
You’ll also be able to find a dedicated MrBeast emote, called Beast Blastin’, which features the YouTuber shooting cash from blasters.
How to take part in the MrBeast Extreme Survival challenge in Fortnite
On Tuesday, December 13 at 2pm, you’ll notice the MrBeast’s Extreme Survival challenge island appear, however, the event will only officially kick off on Saturday, December 17 at 5pm.
The island will be accessible from the Discover screen as well as from the island code 7990-6907-8565.
This will be a limited time event, meaning you’ll be able to play only for a few hours, until 8pm the same day.
Your goal when playing the Extreme Survival challenge is to earn as much ‘Score’ as you can before time runs out in the match.
To do so, you must avoid hazards, collect coins, and survive some of MrBeast’s extreme challenges.
You can play as many matches as you want, as after the challenge ends the Score of your best match will determine your placement.
The player with the highest Score at the end of the challenge will be declared the winner, which means they get to walk out $1,000,000 richer, which is about £813,000.
If you don’t place first, but you’re among the top 100,000 players at the conclusion of the tournament, you’ll still get the golden Beast ‘Brella’ umbrella – if that’s any consolation.
When do the MrBeast Extreme Survival quests go live?
Besides the MrBeast Extreme Survival challenge, there will also be a series of quests added to the battle royale.
The two quests will go live a day before the MrBeast skin, on Tuesday, December 13, at 2pm.
Complete one of these Quests to earn the MrBeast ‘Gaming’ spray, and the other one to earn the MrBeast ‘Survival Games’ loading screen.
Both quests will also grant you a certain amount of Score in the MrBeast’s Extreme Survival challenge island, so you better complete them quickly.
These two quests will be available to play until Wednesday, January 4, at 11:59pm.
