It seems that Fortnite could be getting a new collaboration with Dead Space, according to a recent leak.
Fortnite is truly the game of a thousand collaborations, and Epic Games’ Battle Royale title is known for its many, many crossovers.
In fact, in Chapter 4 alone we’re getting collabs with the likes of Marvel, MrBeast, The Witcher, My Hero Academia and DOOM – and the new season has only just begun.
Now, a new leak states that Dead Space will be the next IP to appear in Fortnite’s Item Shop.
Is Dead Space Coming to Fortnite?
Yes Fortnite is getting a Dead Space collaboration at long last, according to a new report by Insider Gaming. This crossover will reportedly launch in mid-January, to celebrate the release of the long-awaited Dead Space remake.
However, Epic Games is yet to confirm Dead Space coming to Fortnite, so take this with a grain of salt for now.
If the leak does prove to be true, we’d love it to be more than just a simple Item Shop addition or two.
Dead Space is known for its creative mining tool weaponry such as the 211-V Plasma Cutter, which would be an amazing addition to Chapter 4 Season 1.

Fortnite x Dead Space Release Date
According to Insider Gaming, the Dead Space collaboration will arrive in Fortnite on January 23, 2023. This would likely make it the first major Item Shop drop of the new year.
It’s worth noting that the Dead Space remake itself is set to launch on January 27, 2023, just a handful of days later. With that in mind, there could certainly be some truth to the collaboration rumors.
It’s also worth noting that while Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson has a decent track record, his leaks aren’t always entirely accurate. For now, we’ll have to wait and see what arrives in January.
However, one thing’s for certain – we’d love to see the likes of Isaac Clark arrive in the Battle Royale!
