There are usually not many soccer video games Mike McGinley Sr. replays in his thoughts. The evening of Nov. 13, 1987, is without doubt one of the few.

On that November evening in 1987, McGinley’s Cathedral program – a state energy coming off its first of now 14 state championships in 1986 – went on the highway to play an up-and-coming New Palestine program in a Class 3A regional recreation (there have been 5 highschool soccer courses on the time).
