Cincinnati Reds proper fielder Noelvi Marte robbed Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds of a would-be homer through the high of the ninth inning of the Reds’ 2-1 win of their sequence finale at Nice American Ball Park.
“Who is aware of?” the Reds’ Gavin Lux advised Jim Day after the sport. “It may need saved our season.”
“Beneath the circumstances, that is top-of-the-line performs I’ve ever seen,” Reds supervisor Terry Francona advised reporters.
