Christopher Dring has shared some more information regarding Black Friday 2022 and physical video games sales in the United Kingdom. Dring says sales of Sonic Frontiers went through the roof due to some substantial discounts at a number of online retailers during the Black Friday 2022 sales period with total sales increasing by a staggering 203%. Sonic wasn’t the only winner of Black Friday 2022 as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sales were also through the roof due to discounts and the various Nintendo Switch hardware bundles by retailers which saw overall sales increase by 226%. It seems those two games were the real winners of Black Friday 2022 in the United Kingdom.
