South Eugene, North Eugene soccer groups to battle in Recreation of the Week – The Register-Guard

A pair of crosstown foes will renew one of many oldest soccer rivalries in Lane County this week.
South Eugene (0-1) is ready to host North Eugene (1-1) in a Midwestern League showdown at 7 p.m. Sept. 12. Though each packages are coming off Week 1 losses, the Axe and Highlanders will every enter the conflict with a way of optimism and hopes of constructing an early season assertion.
