Rookie Tyler Shough to start out at QB Sunday for Saints’ second preseason sport – KALB

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The Saints introduced Saturday (Aug. 16) that rookie Tyler Shough will begin at quarterback on this weekend’s preseason sport towards Jacksonville.
Shough, the group’s second-round draft select of Louisville, will face the Jaguars within the Saints’ midday sport Sunday at Caesars Superdome.

Second-year quarterback Spencer Rattler began final weekend’s exhibition opener, a 27-13 loss to the Chargers in Los Angeles. Rattler accomplished 7 of 11 passes in that sport for simply 53 yards and no touchdowns.
Shough, 25, relieved Rattler in that sport and hit Mason Tiptop on a 54-yard scoring strike for New Orleans’ solely landing. Shough accomplished 15 of twenty-two passes for 165 yards, but in addition was intercepted as soon as.
