As the title states, got a brand new controller from Microsoft today, updated my console(Series S) and the controller, I connected the controller to the console via an USB-C to USB 3.0 Type-C cable, the controller is listed as an Xbox One Controller? As far as I know the share button was not present in Xbox One Controllers, mine as 9th gen has it and it is working, however I see reports of this happening to Elite controllers too and incapacitating them. I checked the known issues page of Xbox updates to see if it is a problem listed there but did not find anything.
Has anyone found a solution or reason as to why this is happening?
