
LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) – The Nebraska Sport and Parks Fee will quickly settle for grant proposals geared toward enhancing wildlife viewing and nature-based experiences throughout the state.
Funded via the Wildlife Conservation Fund, the Watchable Wildlife Grants encourage initiatives that assist individuals develop a larger appreciation and stewardship of Nebraska’s pure sources via hands-on experiences.
Eligible candidates embody people, nonprofits, authorities businesses, and for-profit organizations. Initiatives ought to give attention to bettering wildlife commentary and positively affect pure sources and wildlife.
Examples of potential initiatives embody constructing wildlife viewing blinds or decks, creating pollinator gardens, offering binoculars and discipline guides for guests, or organizing wildlife viewing occasions. Modern concepts to reinforce wildlife watching are particularly welcome.
Grant functions shall be accepted from Aug. 4 via Oct. 3, 2025, with awards as much as $6,000 per proposal.
