If you’re enjoying your time with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and want to unlock some free bonuses, you’re in the right place.
In an effort to boost viewer counts and get the game noticed by more users, Activision is offering a variety of Twitch drops on the streaming platform. Earning them is quick, and easy, plus more will be up for grabs in the near future.
How to Link Your Activision Account to Twitch
- First, head to the Activision Twitch Rewards page here.
- You will need to sign into your Activision account, the same one as you use for MW2.
- Click on ‘Relink my Twitch account to my Activision account’
- Sign in to your Twitch account.
- Then, link the two accounts together with the Authorize button.
How to Get Twitch Drops for Modern Warfare 2
With your accounts linked together, all you need to do is watch a Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 stream on Twitch.tv for the time specified in the Twitch Drops campaign.
However, make sure that the streamer you’re watching has Drops enabled before committing to them – you’ll often see ‘!Drops’ in their stream title.
When you’re watching the stream, wait a minute and then click on your profile in the top right of the screen. If you’re earning progress towards your drops, you should see a percentage bar filling up based on your current watch time.

How to Claim Twitch Drops
- Once you’ve watched for the specified time, click on your Twitch profile in the top right.
- Click Drops.
- Then click Claim on any reward that is ready to be claimed.

- 141 Weapon Charm – Watch for 15 minutes
- Death’s Angel Calling Card & Emblem – Watch for 30 minutes
