The US was a big a part of the Swap 2’s record-shattering launch, based on the month-to-month Circana survey.
Based on the survey, the Swap 2 bought 1.6 million methods in June, essentially the most ever in a system’s debut month. The earlier document holder, Sony’s PlayStation 4, bought 1.1m methods in November 2013.
Mario Kart World roared off the beginning line as nicely, with 82% of patrons (about 1.31m) both shopping for a bodily copy or the Swap 2 bundle. Even equipment had been sturdy, with 32% of patrons (~510,000) shopping for the Professional Controller.
The highest 10 video games on Nintendo platforms (combining Swap 1 and a couple of) after Mario Kart World had been Cyberpunk 2077, Rune Manufacturing unit: Guardians of Azuma, Tears of the Kingdom, Breath of the Wild, Avenue Fighter 6, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Hogwarts Legacy, Bravely Default HD, and Minecraft.
