Activision has deployed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 update 1.04 patch notes, which is specifically geared towards players having problems accessing the campaign (which is now available via early access) as well as a lock icon bug.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is due out on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One on October 28, 2022. According to recent reports, the game is due to receive campaign DLC in 2023 to plug the gap while players wait for the next full Call of Duty game in 2024.
Fortunately, owners of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on consoles will not have to provide a phone number to play it; this only applies to PC users.
