QUINCY — The Quincy Doggy Paddlers and Clinton LumberKings can’t keep away from the rain.
One evening after having their recreation in Clinton, Iowa, postponed because of climate, their Friday evening doubleheader at QU Stadium was interrupted by thunderstorms. The LumberKings received the primary recreation 11-3 and had been main the second recreation 7-5 by way of 4 innings when the rain pressured the seven-inning affair to be suspended.

The Doggy Paddlers (14-21, 5-7 second half) head to CarShield Area in O’Fallon, Mo., to face the O’Fallon Hoots at 6:35 p.m. Saturday earlier than returning to QU Stadium at 5 p.m. Sunday to face the Alton RiverDragons.
