Bloober Team has announced new details on the upcoming Silent Hill 2 Remake, revealing the upcoming psychological horror title will is being built on Unreal Engine 5 and will take full advantage of the capabilities of the PS5.
Silent Hill 2 Remake will feature the PS5’s 3D audio capabilities as well as DualSense support, so you can expect the likes of haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Meanwhile, Bloober Team has promised that there won’t be any loading times thanks to the PS5’s SSD, offering a seamless experience when exploring the foggy town.
Armed with these technologies, we hope to make Silent Hill 2 an even more harrowing and unforgettable experience for fans old and new. We’re confident that we can do justice to this cult classic, and breathe a new life into its gameplay.
The end result will be a Silent Hill game that looks and sounds better than anything that has come before it. While the development is not over yet, we already can’t wait for fans to experience it.
