Yet another Detroit Tiger is becoming a member of the All-Star celebration.
Beginning pitcher Tarik Skubal was added Sunday to the American League workforce for the All-Star Sport.
Pitchers and reserves had been introduced Sunday for each leagues for the sport July 15 in Atlanta.
Three Tigers were revealed as fan-elected starters on Wednesday — second baseman Gleyber Torres, and outfielders Riley Greene and Javy Baez.
Skubal, the 2024 AL Cy Younger award winner, is first in MLB in WHIP (0.81), second in wins (10), tied for second in strikeouts (148) and second in ERA (2.02). He will probably be making his second All-Star look.
