OXFORD — Ole Miss baseball is one in every of two groups left within the Oxford Regional.
The Rebels (42-20) face Murray State (41-13) on June 1 (7:16 p.m., ESPN+) at Swayze Area within the NCAA event. It’s an elimination recreation for Ole Miss.
If the Rebels win, Ole Miss will face the Racers in a win-or-go-home recreation on June 2.
It’s a rematch of the Rebels’ first recreation within the regional. Murray State received that recreation 9-6 on Might 30. The Rebels pitched No. 2 starter Riley Maddox in that recreation. Senior Gunnar Dennis will pitch for Ole Miss within the rematch.
The Rebels have been good in elimination video games after dropping the sport to the Racers. Ole Miss beat No. 3 Western Kentucky behind Hunter Elliott and No. 2 Georgia Tech 11-9 on June 1.
